Dannevirke Community Toy Library

Welcome to the Dannevirke Community Toy Library.

We offer over 400 toys, games and puzzles for hire. Guaranteed to delight, entertain and distract children of all ages from newborn up to five years.

Play is a key part of preschool learning, helping to develop coordination, dexterity, turn taking, language and creative skills. Our range of safe, educational fun toys and resources are carefully chosen to inspire and promote creative and active play for children in our Toy Library Community.

Our Toy Library collection is regularly updated with new toys and resources. We love to get feedback from members on what they want to see on our shelves.

Puzzles, games, slides, cosy coupe cars, ride-ons, musical toys, kitchen sets, pretend play sets, washable dolls, exersaucers and baby playmats are just some of the items you can find in our Toy Library.

Do you have some skills to share?

We are a non-profit organisation, run by a small volunteer committee, with support from our members and their families.

We are always in need of new committee members. From each new committee member we gain new ideas, new skills and a fresh perspective on ways to improve our Toy Library.
